68 of 72 candidates on our first list will win elections: BSY

Bengaluru: BJP State president B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday communicated certainty that 68 of the 72 candidates, who are on the party’s first list, will surely win in the upcoming elections. 

Talking at a day-long workshop, where party’s election plans were acquainted with its election management committee members at the Palace Grounds here, Yeddyurappa said the list was readied considering the winnability factor. 

He said the contender for the remaining 152 seats are probably going to be reported on April 14 by the central decision council. “No less than 68 aspirants, who are on the primary list, will win. On the whole, we will win 150 seats and frame the legislature.” 

Yeddyurappa said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will confront defeat, on the off chance that he challenges from Chamundeshwari. “He has totally lost his base there” he said.

The BJP pioneer called upon party functionaries to put in additional endeavors for the following one month, while campaigning for the party. “We can not come to control without the help of Dalits, OBCs and women. Attempt exceptional endeavors to charm them.” he said. 

The party election management committee members has 38 sub-committees, both at the state and national level to deal with various issues identified with elections. These boards additionally held meetings on Wednesday.
