CCB enquires minister’s son over Nalapad case

Bengaluru: CCB sleuths on Wednesday recorded the announcement of R V Yuvaraj, BBMP corporator and the son of Chickpet MLA, R V Devaraj, over the bar fight case including Mohammed Haris Nalapad. 

The CCB over the span of the investigation found that Yuvaraj was also present in Farzi Caf of UB City, on February 17 when Nalapad and his associates brutally assaulted Vidwath L. 

But Yuvaraj denied being present in the bar that night and said he went there just thirty minutes after the incident after finding out about it. He said when he went to the bar, there was nobody around and he returned. He likewise illuminated that he was noconnection with the case. 

On Tuesday, CCB sleuths summoned PWD Minister H C Mahadevappa’s son Sunil Kumar Bose regarding the case. The CCTV footage demonstrated he was one of those present in the bar during the occurrence. The recording shows him watching the episode from a table next to which the episode happened. 

But Bose also told the sleuths that he was very far from the place of the assault and that he just recalled that it as an argument between two group.
