Six abductors demanding Rs 1 Cr ransom arrested

Bengaluru: Parappana Agrahara police captured six abductors demanding Rs 1 Crore ransom from the Bosch employee’s wife subsequent to kidnapping him on April 8. The reason for the kidnap was that the victim denied providing any financial help to one of the accused.

The accused has been identified as Satyavelachari (24), Yehswanth Yadav (20), Vinod Kumar (21), Sanjay Reddy (20), Shekhar (20) and Jagannath (23). All are occupants of Kolar except Satyavelachari, who is an inhabitant of Arakere in Bengaluru. 

Sathyavelachari alias Sathya knew Shivakumar , a employee of Bosch well. Shivakumar had sold some of his properties in Bengaluru as of late and Sathya knew about the deals. He looked for monetary help from Shivakumar to hold over his own crisis. At the point when Shivakumar denied, a plot was brought forth to kidnap Shivakumar for money. 

Sathya figured out hoe to kidnap Shiva from his home and managed to kidnap him after taking help from his friends on April 8 from JP Nagar zone of the city. Meanwhile, the abductors called Shivkumar’s wife Sudha on April 9 morning and demanded Rs 1 crore ransom. They took Shivakumar to Kolar through Mulbagal,Srinivaspura and different towns. 

Sudha tried to trace her husband was stunned when she got the call for the money and lodged a complaint. Police enrolled a case under 123/18 under segment 364 (An) of IPC. S-E division ACP Boralingaiah framed 6 groups to arrest the accused. 

The police went on the chase searching for follows at all check points driving toward Kolar. Abductors learnt of the police complaint and called Sudha again threatening to murder her husband. Before they could act further, police managed to nab Yeshwanth Yadav, who spilled the beans about the rest. 

Police additionally seized an Innova car utilized as a part of the task by the abductors.
