NSUI members request the Congress to reconsider on ticket to Mithun Rai

Mangaluru: Over 80 members of NSUI, student wing resigned after the youth congress president Mithun Rai was denied ticket from Moodbidri.
Addressing the media here, Roopesh Rai, state general secretary of NSUI, said “The youth congress is strong in the district with the help of Mithun Rai. Rai has been a role model and has always been supportive of students when in need,”
NSUI members urged the congress party to reconsider the decision.
“In case Mithun Rai joins any other party, we will follow him,
they said”
We have decided to tender our resignations through district Congress committee as we stand by our leader and would continue to work for the party in future too,” he added.
