Sasantra Tulunadu Paksha to contest in Udupi, DK

Udupi/Mangaluru: The Sasantra Tulunad Paksha claimed that they will be fielding candidates in all five Assembly constituencies in Udupi district and all eight Assembly constituencies in Dakshina Kannada district.

Addressing the media here, President, Chittaranjandas Shetty, Udupi district unit of Sasantra Tulunad Paksha, said that the party will protect and promote Tulu language culture and environment of Tulunadu.

Three candidates have been selected Sudarshan Poojary for Udupi Assembly Constituency, Sumanth K. Poojary for Karkala Assembly Constituency, and Vidyashri Shetty for Puttur Assembly Constituency in Dakshina Kannada.

 “Tulunadu is known for its unique culture such as Kola, Nagaradhane, Kambala and Bhootaradhane. Currently these are facing problems who do not value its importance,” Shetty added.
