Mysuru to host International Yoga Day in state-level

Mysuru: A year ago on June 21, Mysuru entered the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest gathering at a single venue held on the occasion of the International Yoga Day. The event was held at an open space of 139 acres of land in Mysore Race Course. This year, the state government has chosen to commend the state-level International Yoga Day in Mysuru with grandeur.
Mysuru was one of four cities that was chosen to hold the International Yoga Day festivities, a list that as of late reduced to two cities- Mysuru and Jaipur. More than 2000 individuals have officially joined to take part in the International Yoga Day festivities to be held in Mysuru and the yoga specialists in Mysuru, are prepared to have the Yoga Day festivities.
Prior this year in February, when the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mysuru, Deputy Commissioner D Randeep gave him a booklet, through Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, clarifying how with minimum help, the city of Mysuru could accomplish the world record, additionally welcoming him to the current year’s celebrations. The PM, inspired by this, said he would attempt and make it to the current year’s festival of the International Yoga Day.
