Siddaramaiah may take final decision on contesting from Badami tomorrow

Bengaluru: Uncertainty endures on the constituency that occupant Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will challenge as there are names of Chamundeshwari and Badami that are making rounds. In any case, the CM has said that he will make final decision on Saturday, April 21 after a meeting with AICC President Rahul Gandhi.
Tending to media people in Mysuru on Friday, the CM stated, “the party leaders from Bagalkot and Vijaypur areas, S R Patil, M B Patil, Thimmapur and others have asked for me to challenge from Badami. But I denied. In any case, they have presented a demand to the high-command. I will go with the choice of the high-command.”
Prior, however Siddaramaiah’s challenge from Badami was as yet unverifiable, his son Dr. Yathindra had tweeted that the CM will document the designation papers from Badami electorate on April 23 and erased the tweet within minutes. It made more disarray among the Congress leaders, workers and additionally the contradicting group which is setting up a portray to overcome the CM on the off chance that he challenges from the Chamundeshwari constituency.
It is certain that the CM will challenge from Chamundeshwari and he has communicated his desire to challenge from Badami too. In any case, it is said that the party leaders had culled the thought saying that it would give a feeling of strength.
