Bengaluru: After almost four years of avoiding politics, Kannada Actress Pooja Gandhi rejoined the JD(S) on Saturday at the party office here.

Pooja who had left on a political vocation with JD(S) split routes with the party to join the Karnataka Janata Paksha, a party glided by B.S Yeddyurappa in 2012. A year later, the actress had exchanged loyalties and challenged on a party ticket offered to her from Badavara Shramikara Raitara Congress Party(BSRCP) of Sriramulu in Raichur.

Notwithstanding, having endured a defeat in the elections, Gandhi had avoided politics.

According to sources, Pooja Gandhi isn’t intending to challenge the elections yet she would be seen campaigning for the party over the state.

With Pooja too joining the temporary fad of Sandalwood stars – Rachita Ram, Nikhil Kumarswamy and Shashi Kumar who will be battling for JD(S) it is to be checked whether this ‘star control, helps JD(S) to come to power.
