25-year-old candidate arrives in helicopter to file nomination to compete against BSY

Shivamogga: An independent candidate from Shivamogga who is going up against BJP chief B S Yeddyurappa in Shikaripura put forth a style while recording assignment papers, by arriving at the latter’s chopper move here on April 21.
Mimicking Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president who had touched base in a chopper on Thursday alongside Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar, Vinay K.C. Rajavath(25), an student leader landed in a helicopter to Shikaripur from Bengaluru record his nomination papers as an Independent candidate.
Addressing media people with respect to his unique way of recording nomination, he said since the general population of Shikaripur have confidence in a straight battle, to take on the opponent in the election and to put up a good fight he landed in a helicopter from Bengaluru.
Vinay said that in regards to Rs 20,000 was transmitted to the police office, fire detachment and PWD. His companions paid the contract charge for the chopper ride to Thumbay Aviation. The election officials said that the cost acquired on the chopper ride would be added to the candidate’s election expenditure.
Vinay first hoarded the spotlight when he pronounced that he would challenge against Yeddyurappa from Shikaripura. Vinay who hails from Lambani community in a small village in Kunchenahalli tanda in Shivamogga taluk, is associated with an students association named Vidyarthi. He is a BSc graduate. His father is a cop. He is likewise a lead on-screen actor in an upcoming Kannada movie titled ‘Ramadurga’.
It will be an intriguing battle in Shikaripura between the 25-year-old leader and the 75-year-old BJP leader.
In Shikaripura the JD(S) has handled H T Baligar and G B Malathesh is the Congress candidate. From AAP Chandrakanth Revankar is challenging in theelections.
