Bengaluru: The single trip toll gathering for vehicles heading towards the Kempegowda International Airport began on Wednesday, April 25. A single trip toll is Rs. 85.

Prior, drivers needed to pay the aggregate toll charge for both trips while driving from the airport to the city. Under the new framework, drivers can pay one-way toll on their outward or return trips, or pay on the first trip an aggregate toll which is substantial for 24 hours.

After the alternative road to the airport was opened, the toll square influenced a few endeavors to gather single trip toll for airport bound vehicles, however without police security they were not able do so. The High Court at that point guided the police to give security.

A. Srinivas Kiran Kumar, the project manager of Navayuga Devanahalli Tollway Pvt. Ltd. stated: “Satisfactory security has been given. For airport bound vehicles, there are 15 toll booths and there is smooth stream of movement.”
