IT raid on JD(S) candidate’s residence and offices

Belagavi: Income Tax authorities conducted a raid on the house and workplaces of Nasir Bagwan, JD(S) candidate from Khanapur in Belagavi on Saturday. The 11 member team raided the residence and offices of the JD(S) candidate.

By pronouncing resources of over Rs. 191 crore, Mr. Bagwan is the wealthiest competitor in the district. The representative from Khanapur has real estate business  in Bengaluru, Mysore and Belagavi.

The officials are presently examining Bhagwan, his son Rameez and Raees.
