Moodushedde: “Congress government is anti-Hindu. This time’s election is decisive and the anti-hindu government must be removed. It is only possible for BJP to do all round development of Mulki-Moodbidri constituency. And due to this fact, BJP should win with highest votes,” said Mulki-Moodbidri constituency BJP candidate Umanath Kotiyan.
He was speaking at conference held as part of election promotion at Moodushedde on Tuesday evening.
“The MLA from here is behaving inadequately with the people and has instilled fear amongst the people. In order for complete development of the constituency and peaceful society, BJP is necessary,” he said.
“Congress will fail miserably in the state and formation of the government by Yeddyurappa is definite. As our government comes into existence, the constituencies all round development will be attempted. Establishing a mini Vidhana Soudha in Moodbidri and bringing the various departments under one roof, making Mulki taluk centre, upgrading Mulki city panchayath to municipality, four laning of state highway between Mangaluru-Moodbidri, creation of government PU College, Degree College and schools and colleges in rural areas depending on demand, up-gradation of roads, underground drainage, in this way, all round development will take place. It is definite that BJP will come to power in Moodbidri this time and the people’s support everywhere is proof to this,” he said.
Hundreds of supporters accompanied Kotiyan during his road show.
