Bengaluru: Around 100 polling stations managed by women have been set up in constituencies with a good number of women voters to encourage women to come out and vote.
Special arrangements have been made for the physically challenged and the visually impaired to cast their votes. Booths will have both ramps and braille for their convenience.
All arrangements are in place for elections to 27 assembly constituencies in the city except Jayanagar, where the poll had been countermanded due to the death of the BJP candidate, B N Vijayakumar, BBMP commissioner and district election officer, Maheshwar Rao said on Thursday.
