19 terrorists killed in army raids in Egypt

Cairo: Nineteen terrorists have been killed in army raids in the Sinai region during the past few days, Egyptian military forces said today.
The raids are part of a major campaign titled Comprehensive Operation Sinai 2018 which was launched in February to eradicate terrorism in north and central Sinai.
Ten terrorists will killed in a firefight with armed forces during the raids in north and central Sinai, a military statement said. It added that nine others were killed in raids by police and security forces.
Twenty other terrorists were arrested during the operation, the statement said.
