Sirsi: Saddened by the BJP State President BS Yeddyurappa’s resignation from the post of the Chief Minister after two days of taking oath, a devoted fanatic of the leader attempted to end his life on Monday.
Suresh Poojary, 33, from Unchalli of Sirsi taluk of Uttara Kannada area had expended poison to end his life, late on Monday night, however since he was immediately taken to the hospital, he was saved.
Suresh Poojary is a dynamic worker of Bharathiya Janatha Party and has likewise battled the local Gram Panchayat election a year ago, yet lost it. He effectively partook in the elections amid the Assembly election, mostly in the publicity and campaigning in Unchalli and near-by towns of Yallapur constituency.
The doctors have informed that Suresh Poojary is responding to the treatment and his health condition is consistent.
Yallapur BJP candidate (lost in the election) V S Patila and Sirsi MLA Vishveshvara Hegade Kageri went to the hospital to check his health condition.
