Sub registrar suspended for causing loss to govt exchequers

Karwar: A sub registrar has been suspended on charges of neglect of obligation and causing loss of over Rs one crore to government exchequers. 

Kishore Badkar, the said sub registrar had not dispatched the sum gathered towards different enrollment work into government accounts. 

In spite of the fact that the issue was uncovered couple of days back, the investigation officers were checking different records. The head office had kept close tabs on the development of Badkar subsequent to seeing hole in remittance of the sum online. 

Following his suspension, Hariyappa has been designated as the new sub registrar.
