Child killed after being run over by KSRP vehicle

Bengaluru: In a tragic accident, a Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) van, positioned at Akshayanagar near Yeshwantpur for election duty ran over a two-and-half-year-old kid therefore killing him on Tuesday evening. 

The deceased has been identifies as V Giriprakash. He was going with his dad Vetrivel to the market. It was when Vetrivel, a daily wage labourer, was buying some basic supplies that the kid kept running into the road all of a sudden and got hit by the KSRP vehicle. 

According to the police, there were no visible wounds on the kid’s body and the post-moterm report will find out the reason for death.
