Teachers’ representatives had failed to solve teachers’ problems: Bhoje Gowda

Mangaluru: the people elected as the teachers’ representatives had failed to solve the problems faced by the teachers’, alleged Janata Dal (S) candidate for the South West Teachers’ Constituency S L Bhoje Gowda speaking to the media at a press conference at a private hotel here on May 25th.
“The salary structure of the teachers has not been revised yet. This has caused a big divide between the salaries paid to government school teachers and others. The new National Pension Scheme (NPS) is also creating challenges for the teachers,” Bhoje Gowda said, highlighting the problems faced by the teachers in the constituency.
He promised to work for bringing qualitative change in education and ensuring welfare of the teachers, as he asked for votes. He expressed his faith in the electorate and was definite about his victory in the elections.
