Teachers banned from using mobile phones

Sullia: If the students use mobile phones within the classroom, their teachers punish them. Henceforth, if the teachers make use of mobile phones, they will be subjected to punishment from the department. The department of general education has released an order banning the use of mobile phones by school teachers during class hours.
If the teacher uses the mobile phone while taking the class, it will cause impediment in the teaching activity, therefore the use of mobile has been completely banned.
It mentions that, if a teacher is found using mobile phone while taking classes, strict disciplinary action will be taken against them. The school head master must keep an eye on this. Though the headmaster is exempted from the ban, they none the less are banned from using the mobile phone when taking classes.
If the teachers are observed to be using their mobile phones during school hours or if there are complaints regarding this, the head master will be held directly responsible for it, informed primary education director B.K.Basavaraju in the release.
