Mobile Janatha Court and Legal Literacy Chariot flagged off

Mangaluru: The District and Sessions Judge and District Legal Services Authority Chairman K S Beelagi flagged off a Legal Literacy Chariot and Mobile Janatha Court at the  District Court premises on Monday, May 28th.

Beelagi spoke on the occasion ans said everyone must have legal knowledge as law was an integral part of man’s life. Additional DC Vaishali, DCP Uma Prashanth and Mangaluru Bar Association President M R Ballal also spoke as chief guests.

District Legal Services Authority, Zilla Panchayat, Police Department, Bar Association, SDM Law College and Departments of Labour, Education, Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare and  Information and Publicity jointly organized the event.

Assistant Labour Commissioner K B Nagaraj, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr M Ramakrishna Rao, DDPI Y Shivaramayya, Deputy Director  of PU Education Department Nagarajappa and others were present.
