Competition for Legislative Council ticket continues among Congress leaders

Bengaluru: The list of Congress wannabes competing for an enrollment in the Karnataka Legislative Council has been developing as the day for the biennial races is drawing close. Since 11 individuals from the party are finishing their term on June 17, the election to fill these empty seats will be hung on June 11. 

The Congress party, with the limit of their MLAs can win 4 seats. The way toward concluding the competitors is in the last stage and a list will be discharged after the endorsement by the party seniors, said Congress sources. 

It is relatively affirmed that serving MLC K. Govindaraj will proceed for another term, while the party is thinking about holding the seat emptied by former CM Ibrahim again with a Muslim applicant. In this way, there is a solid probability that Ibrahim is probably going to get another opportunity. In the mean time, Nazeer Ahmed’s name is likewise being heard in party circles. 

There is enormous rivalry for the seat cleared by Hebbal MLA Byrathi Suresh. It is being requested that after Suresh opportunity ought to be given to Ramachandrappa, another leader from the same Kuruba people group. Former director of the Legislative Assembly V R Sudarshan is additionally in the race. 

Rani Sathish is a competitor to the seat cleared by Motamma. In any case, it is to be checked whether the party offers chance to Motamma, who was defeated in Mudigere Assembly supporters once more or offers it to Rani Sathish who tries to go into the Upper House.
