Suspicious death of cattle trader

Udupi: A cattle trader hailing from Jokatte in Mangaluru has been found dead under suspicious circumstances in a coffee plantation near Perdoor in Udupi. The deceased has been identified as  Husainabba (65).

It is said four persons including Husainabba had escaped on seeing the cops. Of the four, Husainabba was found dead this morning. Sources informed that the deceased was waylaid while transporting cattle late night on Tuesday.

The relatives of the deceased have expresses suspicion on the cause of death. It is said that there were some Sangh Parivar activists along with the cops.

The body has been placed at the mortuary of KMC Manipal and the true cause of his death will be revealed by the awaited autopsy report.
