Fire engines arrive to Mangaluru from various locations

Mangaluru: Fire engines and additional staff has been requisitioned from various locations in the state to assist in emergency operations due to the unpredictability of rain and the chance for another flood.
On the night of May 29th, fire engines and additional staff arrived at Mangaluru along with the arrival of Fire department Deputy Director (administration) H.S,Varadarajan who too visited the city and the regions affected by the floods and carried inspection.
Since a few places in the city including Kodialbail, Kottara, Yekkur, Alake, Surathkal and other places were more prone to floods, a fire engine was stationed at these places on Wednesday too. These vehicles are equipped with trained staff, boat and equipment for emergency operations.
How many and from where?
20 members staff from Hassana, 2 vehicles, 1 vehicle from Shivamoggam 8 members staff, a vehicle from Puttur and 10 members staff, One vehicle and 6 member staff from Belthangady, 1 vehicle from Ma dikeri with 10 member staff arrived. Along with this, there are 6 emergency vehicles with 50 members staff from Mangaluru.
