Bus rams into shop, kills a pedestrian

Madikeri: A man was killed as a private bus collided with a shop on the I B Road here on June 1. 

The deceased is identified as Rajesh (21) was standing in front of the shop at the time of the accident.

Supposedly, the bus failed to stop as its brakes failed when it was moving toward the junction on I B street. The episode was caught on tape. A CCTV film of the mishap appears no less than three individuals having a supernatural escape as they dodged the moving vehicle.

A case has been regsitered at Kushalanagara police station.
