Bengaluru: A man stabbed his wife to death after locking his neighbors their own homes on May 31.

As indicated by police, 28-year-old Sabu alias Sabanna was hitched to 25-year-old Anusuja, four years back. The couple hailed from Sedam in the Kalaburgi district.

They soon moved to Hullahalli where they found job at a cement factory. The two lived in a temporary shed on the factory premises along with two other families who lived close-by.

The evening of May 30, the couple got into a fight after the husband got back home drunk and he was overheard abusing the wife saying that she wasn’t able to conceive. The fight faded away a couple of hours after the fact and the neighbors thought that things were back to normal. They weren’t right when they woke up to Anusuja’s horrifying screams at 2.30 AM on Thursday.

At the point when the neighbors attempted to rush for help of the wife, they realized they were locked in their homes from the outside. The husband is then said to have fled the scene of the crime at around 4 AM, after he killed his wife.

The police have said that Sabanna is absconding and assured that they would uncover the motive behind the murder, once Sabu was captured. They additionally included that after postmortem was led on the wife’s body at the Victoria Hospital, it was given over to her family.
