Youth injured in clashes between forces and protestors dies in Kashmir

Srinagar: A youth who was allegedly hit by a security forces’ vehicle during Friday clashes in the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir died at a hospital here, police said on Saturday
Kaiser Bhat (21), a resident of the Fatehkadal area of the city, was injured when the security forces’ vehicle allegedly hit him and another youth during the protests in the Nowhatta area here on Friday
Both the injured were taken to the SKIMS hospital at Soura where Bhat succumbed to his injuries “He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital around midnight,” a police official said
After the Friday prayers culminated at the historic Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta, a group of youth started pelting stones on the security forces, he said
A few protestors attacked a vehicle of the security forces which hit two of them, leaving them injured, the official said.
