Hussainabba suspicious death: Three Bajrang Dal activists arrested in Ballari

Udupi: Three Bajarang Dal activists were arrested by the Ballari police in connection to the suspicious death of Hussainabba who was allegedly transporting cattle illegally.
The arrested have been identified as H Prasad, Deepak alias Shetty and Suresh Mendon alias Suri.
On the wee hours of Wednesday May 30th, Hussainabba along with three others was transporting cattle illegeally its is alleged, when they were waylaid by a scorpio SUV. It is alleged that when Suri and other Bajrang Dal activists waylaid the vehicle, Hussainabba and the others grew frightened and ran. Three of them managed to escape while Hussainabba died.
Sources say that soon after the incident, Bajrang Dal activists went absconding. The arrested came to Ballari by a car bearing registration number A 20 M B 7864 and took refuge here. Based on this information, the Udupi police got in touch with their counterparts in Ballari and got the trio arrested from a hotel on Friday June 1st.
On Thursday May 31st, SI of Hiriadka police D N Kumar was suspended for dereliction of duty, a day after Hussainabba (61) was found dead at Perdoor, in what his family has alleged to be a case of murder.
