Mangaluru: A few of the water bills issued to the consumers are faulty and unscientific, therefore Mangaluru City South MLA, Vdavyas Kamath said he has directed the MCC commissioner to verify the faulty and unscientific water bills issued.

After receiving grievances he spoke and said there are complaints on unscientific water bills being issued to households.” A few complainants have shown me the bills as well. There is a difference in the present and past bills issued to these households.”

“The problem is not faced by one or two households. A majority are facing similar problems. A few have received Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000 as water bill for a month,” said the Commissioner and promised to initiate measures to rectify the mistakes within two days.
