Thieves break into Vijaya Bank ATM

Kumta: Thieves vandalized a Vijaya Bank ATM in Kumta taluk of Uttara Kannada on Saturday night trying to take cash.
They however needed to drop their plans after hearing the sound of a vehicle drawing closer.
The thieves had allegedly broken into the cash chamber of the ATM when they were alarmed by the sound of a vehicle and ended their plans.
Kumta police went by the spot and enrolled a case. Investigations are in progress.
