Siddakatte illegal abattoir raided

Punjalakatte: Bantwal rural police raided an illegal abattoir and seized meat and calves at Siddakatte in Bantwal on Sunday.

The bantwal rural police conducted the raid based on definite tip off that there was an illegeal abattoir at Siddakatte that was involved in production of beef. During the raid, the police seized 11 kgs of beef and 2 calves.

Seeing the approaching police vehicle, the accused Idinabba and his son Mohammed Rasheed from Siddakatte escaped and a net has been woven to nab the accused, informed the police.
