DC declares two-day holiday to schools and colleges owing to heavy rains

Mangaluru: The meteorological department alerted the coastal districts of Karnataka to be prepared to face heavy rainfall on Friday and Saturday.
Dakshina Kannada District, Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil declared a holiday for schools and colleges in the district on both these days.
Udupi district, Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis declared holiday for schools and pre-university colleges in Udupi district on Friday on account of heavy rains.
