Woman found dead in Kaushambi

Kaushambi: The body of a 30-year-old woman bearing wounds inflicted from a sharp edged weapon was recovered from a farm here, police said today.

Circle officer Sirathu Anshuman Mishra said, “The body of the 30-year-old woman was found from a farm located near Nabipur village.” 

The woman was killed using a sharp-edge weapon and her identity is yet to be ascertained, he said.

A case has been registered in this regard and the body has been sent for post-mortem, Mishra said.
