M B Patil meets Rahul Gandhi, discussion remains secret

New Delhi/Bengaluru: Former ministers, Babaleshwara MLA M B Patil, who is miffed after missing the ministerial post, met All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, on Saturday and had a discussion. 
 
Addressing the media people later, M B Patil stated, “The discussion was held between four walls and I have described everything to Rahul Gandhi. The different Lingayat religion battle was not the motivation to miss the cabinet berth. I didn’t demand anything. I am not in contact with the BJP. I am a genuine Congressman.” 

In the interim, in regards to M B Patil’s meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara said that he has no clue whether Rahul Gandhi himself called Patil or Patil wished to meet Rahul Gandhi. No one was prepared to uncover about the issue discussed between the two.
