Funeral held for leopard which died after falling in a well

Karwar: The residents of Ankola taluk in Uttara Karnataka district showed act of humanity by arranging a funeral of a leopard who died after falling in a well here.
The six-year-old leopard had fallen into a well situated in a farm belonging to Aruna Gunaga two days ago but the issue came to light when it was spotted by a farm worker. The forest department authorities were informed about the same.
The officials, with assistance from local people, brought the leopard out. After completing the post-moterm procedures, a funeral was held for the leopard. The reason for the leopard’s death can be discovered after the post-moterm report is known.
