Five die on spot in KSRTC bus and car head-on collision

Five people including a five-year-old died on the spot after a bus and car collided near Kolur cross close to the city on Friday June 15. 

All the occupants of the car died on spot. They have been identified as Santosh, Preetham Vinay, Krishna, and Dada Khalandar, all from Kurugodu. 

Ballari: The accident took place between a car that was moving towards the city and the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus that was going towards Siruguppa. 

The police and local people had a hard time removing bodies which were stuck under the ravaged car. As every one of the occupants of the car had died, details of the passengers could not be ascertained immediately.

District superintendent of police, Arun Rangarajan, Kurugodu police station officers went by the spot and embraced measures to meet legal formalities. 

A case was enrolled in Kurugodu police station.
