Piles of discarded ration cards found at Byndoor

Byndoor/Bantwal: Several ration cards were found thrown at a place here near the NH in Shiroor on Thursday.
The cards details revealed that they were issued in 2003, 2004 and 2011 and reportedly were issued under Bantwal taluk panchayat limits.
Other documents were also found along with the cards. The officials who visited the spot said that the validity of the cards had expired.
It is learnt that one of the bundles might have slipped and fallen off the vehicle disposing old documents.
Byndoor police are investigating on the incident.
