Man killed as a speeding truck runs over him

Manjeshwar: A youth lost his balance while riding and knocked down an elderly man who was later run over by a truck.

The deceased has been identified as Niyaz. Abdulla(60).

Sources said that  Niyaz knocked down Abdulla who was walking beside the road, lost balance on the bike and fell off the road was run over by a speeding truck. He breathed his last on the spot. The traffic in the region was snarled for sometime due to the accident.

Manjeshwar police have registered the case.
