Nalin Kumar Kateel is a lazy MP: Rai

Mangaluru: Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai criticized MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and called him a lazy MP.
Rai sai that Kateel takes credit for developmental works done by others and chided him saying he has not seen another MP “as lazy as Mr. Kateel”.
Kateel gets on his toes only during elections, sand mining has been active in this area since 15 years and not just during the previous Congress rule. Congress has worked towards the development of the people, all the good work hs been sidelined, he added.
Rai said, responding to the MP’s charge that the mafia had been thriving during the previous Congress regime.
Responding to the allegation of the MP that four-laning of Mangaluru-Karkala NH 169 was delayed because of him and two Congress MLAs, Rai said he had ensured that land acquisition was complete when he was the Minister. Kateel did not attend even one of the three meetings in that regard, he held.
