Bidar’s ‘people’s officer’ Anirudh Sravan P transferred

Bidar: Deputy Commissioner of Bidar, Anirudh Sravan P, who was famously known as ‘people’s’ officer’ in the area was exchanged inside 78 long stretches of assuming the office. H.R. Mahadeva, Mr. Sravan’s predecessor, will accept the office on Wednesday evening. Mr. Sravan, however, was not given any post at present.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) had transferred Mr. Sravan as Deputy Commissioner of Bidar replacing Mr.Mahadev in last April when Model Code of Conduct was in force for Assembly Elections 2018.
Testing the move, Mr. Mahadev moved Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) in light of the fact that he had been transferred before he finished two years. At the point when the KAT decided for Mr. Mahadev, the ECI tested the KAT administering in Karnataka High Court, which remained the KAT arrange in perspective of progressing Assembly Elections. With the decisions over, stay-arrange was lifted encouraging the reinstallation of Mr. Mahadev in his position.
