Bengaluru: A BJP member on Monday said the budget allowance exhibited by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy did not have legal sanctity as it was the second budget plan in the same financial year.

BJP member J.C. Madhuswamy said “You are setting a terrible priority by permitting discussion on the second budget plan of the year. Such dialog is invalid and void.” He brought up that past Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had just displayed an undeniable budget plan however he had taken just a vote-on-represent it till July end.

Reacting to this, Mr. Kumaraswamy said even Parliament had seen introduction of two spending budget in the years when there was a change in political agreement. Speaker Ramesh Kumar saved ruling on this issue, saying he would counsel legal experts.
