Free Trupti milk pcaket with every Nandini Milk packet!

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers’ Union will supply 180 ml of Trupti milk packet free with every packet of Nandini milk (500 ml, one litre, six litre packets) in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district said Raviraj Hegde, president of the Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers’ Union.  

Mr. Hegde addressed the press and said that the union had decided to pass on some of the benefits of the increased milk storage of the union, to the customers. The free distribution of of Trupti milk packet to the customers for a single day would cost the union Rs. 62 lakh. The Trupti milk packet has a shelf life of 90 days.

Arrangements have already been made and the dealers have been informed by the union for the free distribution of the Trupti milk packets to the houses and outlets where Nadini milk was supplied.

Parents should encourage their children to drink instead of carbonated drinks. Milk was good for the health of children, observed Mr. Hegde.

The milk produced by the union went through many checks before it was supplied thus maintaining its unadulterated quality. The demand for Nandini milk was evident by the fact that many people asked for it, he added.
