Youth arrested in Florine Machado murder case

Karkala: Police nabbed a man in connection with murder of Florine Machado from Kukkundur here.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Riaz (33), from Hosmaru.

It has been reported that the accused was in touch with Florine. The two met via social networking site. Florine was staying away from her family and was in touch with Riaz.

Riaz had been to the Ajmer Dargah after killing Florine. Karkala police team, under the leadership of circle inspector Joy Antony, who got definite information on his whereabouts, arrested Mohammed in Mumbai and brought him to Karkala.
