RTO inspector killed in an accident

Tumakuru: A RTO inspector of Chitradurga was killed on the spot in an accident in Sira taluk of Tumakuru on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Devaraj, aged 50 years.
Devaraj had come to Sira and was going back to Chitradurga when the four-wheeler in which he was travelling hit a divider near Tavarekere. He was killed on the spot. Driver Ashok endured severe injuries and is under treatment at Sira taluk government hospital.
The Sira police have registered a case and are investigating further.
