Mysuru: State Minister DK Shivakumar can’t remain out of the spotlight for the wrong reasons. In the most recent outrage, the minister has been blamed for slapping a person who was trying to take a selfie with him.
The incident took place when DK Shivakumar was visiting the Kabini and KRS dams here along with Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Anitha Kumaraswamy and some other Cabinet members.
While the ministers were en route to their vehicle, one individual attempted to take a selfie with DK Shivkumar and got a hit to the face instead. Others fled from the scene quickly after the incident.
The Chief Minister was on a visit to the dams to offer ‘Bagina’, which is a traditional custom done when the dam reaches full limit. This is the second time that CM Kumaraswamy has been at the Kabini dam to offer Bagina.
