Notorious criminal and a murder attempt accused nabbed

Ullal: The notorious criminal and murder attempt accused Mohammed Mustafa alias Sonu (21) a resident of Mukkacheri has been arrested by the Ullal police. He was wanted in connection with the attempt to murder and threatening a youth thus pressurize the victim to withdraw an old case.
On June 29th, the accused reportedly attacked Venkatesh from Mastikatte coercing him to withdraw an old case against him and attempted to kill him.
The accused already faces two murder cases against him at Ullal police station. There is also a case registered against him under sections 341, 323, 504, 506, and 307 of IPC. He has a case regesterd against him at Kankanady police station and 4 cases at Konaje station.
Wanted in 24 cases
Mohammed Hanif (30), resident of Madaninagar, who is wanted in 24 different criminal cases, has been arrested by the police. The accused is facing cases of murder, attempt to murder, assault, robbery and theft against him at Ullal police station. He also has a murder case registered against him at Mangaluru North Police station and a robbery case at Kushalnagar police station. The court had issued a warrant to arrest the accused who is presently a resident of K.C. Nagar in Talapady.
On Sayurday July 21st, Ullal police station inspector, Gopikrishna K R, sub-inspector, Guruvappa Kanthi, Vinayaka Toragal and staff arrested Haneef when he was lingering about in the vicinity of Ullal Dargah.
