Former minister Vimalabhai Deshmukh passes away

Vijayapura: Former minister for Women and Child Development in the cabinet of former chief minister JH Pati, Vimalabhai Jagadevarao Deshmukh, passed away due to age-related illness, at her residence, here on Sunday, July 22. She was 70.
Vimalabhai had additionally filled in as district in-charge minister of Bagalkot. Her mortal remains will be kept for public viewing in Naalathavada, in Muddebihal Taluk, said a family source including that last rituals will be seen on Monday, July 23.
Vimalabhai is survived by three daughters.
