Corpse of a woman in a gunny bag found at Attavar

Mangaluru: The mortal remains of an unidentified woman wrapped in a gunny bag was found on Saturday, July 21st.

On Saturday midnight, a person found the corpse in a gunny bag with the legs folded near a stream at Babugudde 4th Cross. He alerted the cops who reached the spot and ascertained that the mortal remains were of a woman.

The woman has wheatish complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, was wearing a nightie, aged 60-70 years and had sustained an injury mark on her head. The identity of the corpse is yet to be ascertained.

The mortal remains of the woman are kept at Wenlock Hospital and more details can be availed from Pandeshwar police.
