Sources inform that an auto rickshaw driver, allegedly a close aide of late Shiroor Swamiji, was taken to the flat of the lady who is also alleged to be a close aide of the Seer at Kinnimulki. The police are also visiting houses in the vicinity if the Shiroor Mutt to conduct inquiry, take statements  and gather information on the daily activities of the Mutt from the residents in the area. To maintain the secrecy of the investigation, the superintendent of police (SP) of Udupi has refused to give more information.

On Saturday, July 21st, Kemaru Swamiji had said that Rs 10 crore was to be recovered from entrepreneurs from Mumbai. The late Shiroor Swamiji had taken a bank loan in order to build Kanaka Mall and due to reasons, he had to pay the installments. Recently Shiroor Swamiji had decided to sell the same to an entrepreneur from Mumbai. The deal was for Rs. 15 crore and it was agreed that Rs 10 crore to be paid to the late Swamiji and rest to be paid to the bank, it is being said.

Energy drink bottle seized?

Temporary autopsy report in two days

While conducting an autopsy, generally two reports are created. First report is temporary while the next report is the final report. As the doctors are preparing the final post-mortem report, there is a possibility that the temporary report will be available in another two day’s time. However, the final post-mortem report as well as the report from the forensic laboratory may take two weeks to be done with.

Shiroor Seer’s lawyer has informed the media that he has not filed a case since the SP has informed him that the case can be filed only after the availability of the autopsy report.
