Man purchases gold coin from Flipkart, gets empty box instead

Bengaluru: A man has filed a complaint against internet business giant Flipkart, after he bought a gold coin online but got an empty box. 

As indicated by the complainant Amit Kumar Garg, a resident of Basavanagar near HAL, he had placed an order for a 20 gm gold coin on Flipkart and made an online payment of Rs 61,755, on December 8. The package was delivered to Garg on December 28 by PVC Logistics. Garg opened the parcel in front of the delivery man only to find out that it was empty.

When he questioned the delivery boy, he was told to contact the Flipkart helpline. Garg submitted CCTV footage and payment confirmation to Flipkart and he was guaranteed that the protest would be verified. When he didn’t get a positive reaction from the organization, he moved toward the HAL police and filed a complaint against both Flipkart and PVC Logistics. 

The police, then again, have said that they would investigate the issue and make a move against those responsible.
