Siddaramaiah to lead Congress Lok Sabha campaign

Bengaluru: Sources have guaranteed that the Congress high command has chosen to confront the following year’s Lok Sabha election under the initiative of former chief minister of the state, Siddaramaiah.
According to data assembled, All India Congress Committee president, Rahul Gandhi, requested that Siddaramaiah assume leadership even for Lok Sabha election, when the latter met him amid his visit to New Delhi recently.
It is said that Rahul needed the understanding as of now reached the JD(S) to be proceeded for Lok Sabha election. He needs the party to set an objective of 20 Lok Sabha seats from Karnataka. Sources say that the high order has passed on data about confronting Lok Sabha election under Siddaramaiah’s authority to all the state level party leaders including Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, Dinesh Gundu Rao.
